What is 2-1-1
2-1-1 is Connecticut’s free information and referral service. Simply by dialing 2-1-1, a toll-free number throughout Connecticut, callers can reach knowledgeable, multilingual staff and get information, referrals or seek help in a crisis. 2-1-1 operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year. What's New
Town Meeting - Connecticut Public Television will air the CPTV original program Women’s Health: A Live Town Meeting on June 21 at 8 p.m., with an encore presentation airing on Monday, June 27 at 11:00 p.m. This town meeting special will focus on the critical need for women to make time in their busy schedules for check ups, screenings, and healthy lifestyle choices. EMPS Website –The state’s Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Service (EMPS) has a new website that allows visitors to locate an EMPS provider in their city or town, request an EMPS presentation, download EMPS materials, and connect to other resources that are available to assist parents and caregivers whose children are experiencing a behavioral or emotional crisis. Visit the new site at www.empsct.org.
