FAMILY SUPPORT GRANT

The Connecticut State Department of Developmental Services and grant subsidies help to defray the extraordinary expenses of parents or other eligible family members who are caring for a dependent child ages 0 through 17 with a disability. Families with children who have developmental disabilities apply to Department of Developmental Services; families with children with other disabilities apply to the Department of Social Services. This program has income restrictions.

This program is not an entitlement program; there is a waiting list.
