HOMELAND
SECURITY ADVISORY SYSTEM
The Homeland
Security Advisory System is used to advise the
public of changes in the threat level for
possible terrorist attacks. The color-coded
system indicates probability of a terrorist
attack: green = low, blue = guarded, yellow =
elevated, orange = high, and red = severe. Also
the advisories are targeted for geographic
regions and/or sectors (such as mass transit,
aviation, etc.).For the latest information on
