Visit the Connecticut Department of Labor's new website, No More Paper Checks! to find out how to obtain unemployment benefits electronically either through direct deposit to a bank account or to a debit card.  The Connecticut Department of Labor has "gone green" with a completely paperless system of Unemployment Benefit payments.
